Short drama dubbing pricing: pay per character, see what an episode costs
No per-episode bundles and no per-minute rates: you spend credits on the characters you generate. What an episode costs depends on how much dialogue and narration it has.

- A Chinese, Japanese or Korean character counts as 3.5 billable characters (it takes about as long to say as 3.5 English letters); English, Thai, Vietnamese and other scripts count as written, and runs of spaces count once.
- Foreign versions reserve credits up front and settle on the translated text once generated; any difference is refunded automatically.
- An episode is estimated at 2,000 Chinese characters, about 7 minutes of finished audio; the workshop shows the exact cost before you generate.
What does an episode cost?
Cost per minute and cost per episode both follow from character count.
Credits follow generated characters
Each run counts the text that is actually voiced: character lines, narration and inner monologue all count. Scene directions and stage notes that are written for you and never read aloud don't.
Foreign versions count their own text
English, Thai, Vietnamese and other versions are counted on the text in that language, separately from the Chinese original. Three languages for one episode means three counts.
Failed runs are refunded automatically
Whether it's the network or the model, if a run fails, the credits it took go straight back to your account. No support ticket needed.
Estimating an episode
An episode costs roughly its total dialogue and narration length, and how much text fits in a minute depends on pace and density. Compare your typical episode length with a plan's credits to see how many episodes a month it covers.

Pricing and billing FAQ
What an episode or a minute costs, payment methods and cancelling.
You pay per character: an episode costs the credits for its total dialogue and narration. Dense, narration-heavy episodes cost a bit more; lighter ones cost less. See the plan cards above for the credits each plan includes.
We don't bill by the minute. How much text fits in a minute depends on pace and dialogue density, so character count is the fairer measure: estimate the text in a minute, then compare it with a plan's credits.
Voice actors usually quote by the hour, by role or by episode, plus scheduling and retakes. AI dubbing spends credits per character, a script change is just a regeneration, and extra characters or languages don't mean hiring more people.
Each foreign version is counted on its own text, separately from the Chinese version, using the same credits in the same account. There's no language add-on to unlock.
No. When a run fails, the credits it took are refunded to your account automatically, and you can see the refund in your credit history.
Alipay, WeChat Pay and cards. Alipay and WeChat Pay are one-time purchases that never auto-renew; card subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from the billing page, and credits already granted stay usable until they expire.
